Current Project

Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco (HHGSF) is in the final phase of building twelve single-family homes on De Long Street in the Outer Mission. The first phase began in Summer 2005, and work will be completed on the final three homes in the Fall of 2008.

These homes are being built almost entirely by volunteers and partner families. At the beginning of the day, volunteers are split up into groups, each led by one of our skilled Site Supervisors.  They will train you to use any tools you will need for the day, and teach you any skills you may not know. No experience is necessary, just a desire to learn. We do require volunteers to work the entire day, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

For more details click on a build day below or go to http://www.habitatgsf.org/bartlots.php.
